DON’T FORGET voters registered as Independents or with a party other than the Republican, Democratic or Libertarian parties, can and should vote in the Primary Election on August 26th.

Simply follow these steps:

If you are on the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) and would like to vote by mail in the Primary, you must contact your County Recorder’s office and request that a ballot from the party of your choice be mailed to you. The deadline to request an early ballot is August 15th at 5:00 p.m., but the sooner you request it the better.

Independent voters can also vote in person on Primary Election Day at their designated polling place by telling the poll workers which Party Primary they would like to vote in.
