UWNA Distributing COVID-19 Fund Grants

Hello Friend,
We hope that you are continuing to stay safe and stay positive during these trying times.
To help with the staying positive part, we are very happy to report that grants from the COVID-19 Fund established last week are already going out to recipients.
The first grant, made possible because of your donations, was awarded to the Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff to help support it’s “Club on the Go” bags to keep our kids engaged and active.
Each kit includes a week’s worth of activities and worksheets, plus meals and snacks based on USDA nutrition guidelines.
In addition to the grant from the UWNA COVID-19 Fund, these kits were made possible by a community partnership of several businesses and nonprofits.
We have numerous COVID-19 Fund grants in the works to support those local organizations that are providing basic needs and easing the impact of the coronavirus on our most vulnerable populations.
We understand how difficult times are right now, but if you can, please consider a gift to the COVID-19 Fund today.
Take care and remember that even though we are physically apart due to shutdowns and social distancing, we can always Live United.
