Dear Tynkertopia Friends,

Tynkertopia is going ONLINE! Even though we are currently closed, we want to engage Tynkertopia kids in some challenges that develop creativity and problem solving. We are using Zoom Meeting to host online gatherings at:  https://zoom.us/j/341778592 – no Zoom account or password needed!
This week we will offer three challenges for PK – 5th grade students:
  • Tuesday @ 3 PM: Building and testing the strength of paper columns
  • Thursday @ 3 PM: Creating a bouquet of spring flowers
  • Saturday @ 3 PM: Building a fort out of newspaper

Please gather the following materials together BEFORE each Zoom meeting: scissors, a pencil, a stapler, construction paper, plain paper, a ruler, tape, and a glue stick, and any other household materials you wish.

We will record each meeting. So, if you are unable to attend the meeting live, you can view each challenge as an archive on the Tynkertopia website. We hope to offer an online meeting each day the following week!

Please join us ONLINE (https://zoom.us/j/341778592) for our informative, fun, and enlightening STEAM Challenges.

I’m missing interacting with kids and parents in person – and look forward to seeing you all online.

Be well! Stay well! Dr. Alice

PS If you don’t have kids, pass this along to friends and colleagues who do.
