Hundreds of families enjoyed the warm weather and played carnival games, rode a miniature train and gained valuable educational lessons during the FACTS “Lights On” Carnival held Sept. 10 at Bushmaster Park in Flagstaff.

A variety of educational organizations staffed nearly two-dozen booths and information tables during the free event, which ale included an obstacle course, a fun slide, STEM demonstration programs and other activities.

The event, which celebrated the FACTS after school program, also included a Food Drive to support Flagstaff Unified School District homeless families where visitors donated canned goods or peanut butter during the carnival.
