Tonier Cain’s Book “Healing Neen” Now Available for Sale – Proceeds Benefit CCC&Y and NACASA

| October 15, 2014

Tonier Cain is a nationally recognized SAMHSA speaker and advocate for recovery and trauma-informed care.  In March 2010, her story was launched in the form of a documentary titled, “Healing Neen” which details her transcendent story of emergence from drug addiction, multiple incarcerations and two decades of homelessness to become a tireless advocate and educator on the devastating impact of childhood abuse.

Last month, her book “Healing Neen” was released and Flagstaff had the privilege of hosting her and hearing her story just recently on October 14th.

You can PURCHASE HER BOOK “HEALING NEEN” now for just $16, the same low price as other online options, but all proceeds stay in our community supporting the work of Coconino Coalition for Children and Youth (CCC&Y) and Northern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault (NACASA).

Tonier Cain’s story illustrates the great need to rethink how we treat the shattered adults severely traumatized children become.  For more information and to see the video trailer please go here: http://healingneen.com/
