TODAY is National Voter Registration Day – September 23rd – Easy Peasy

| September 22, 2014

Did you know that September is Voter Registration Month?

Why? In 2008, 6 million Americans didn’t vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. Let’s make sure that they aren’t  left out this year!

National Voter Registration Day is September 23, when volunteers, celebrities, and organizations from all over the country will “hit the streets” for National Voter Registration Day. This single day of coordinated field, technology and media efforts will create pervasive awareness of voter registration opportunities–allowing us to reach tens of thousands of voters who we could not reach otherwise.

What you can do:

  • Make sure you and your staff are registered to vote
  • Start your own voter engagement campaign (check out the resources in the sidebar to get some help)
  • Send out a social media message on September 23 to spread the word about National Voter Registration Day!

Have you moved recently? Make sure you’re registered to vote with your new address www.NationalVoterRegistrationDay.org #CelebrateNVRD
