Many past participants in the College and Career Competency Team Training (CCCTT) project requested a workshop format for others in their schools to learn about what “makes up” self-regulation and how educators can provide students opportunities in any classroom or school context to practice making their own plans for specific goals or tasks, how students can monitor the steps of their plans, make changes to specific steps in their plans when needed and how to encourage students to reflect on their plans (what worked and what didn’t).
This training is available to any educator that would like to learn more about self-regulation – proactively applying self-directive processes and behaviors to attain moderately challenging goals and skills.  Self-regulation contributes to in school and post school positive outcomes!
