AzCAN Update
Earn to Learn and AzCAN officially have launched the brand new AdviseAZ AmeriCorps program on September 1. This opportunity has placed college students and recent college graduates with high schools and community based organizations all across Arizona to work with students on postsecondary and career readiness. Achieve60AZ: What We’re Watching
Students of color earn postsecondary credentials at far lower rates than white students. In Unlocking the Nation’s Potential: A Model to Advance Quality and Equity in Education Beyond High School, Lumina Foundation proposes a national approach to remove inequities in postsecondary access and increase overall quality of credentials. The report offers new ways to address inequities that could be demonstrated in Arizona.
