A variety of resource guides are available for cities throughout Coconino County to help families reach the resources they need during the Covid-19 emergency.
Connections Spotlight — CCC&Y seeks to connect community with help through variety of resource guides
COCONINO COUNTY — Whether it’s connecting families with local representatives from the Coconino County Health & Human Services’ Women’s, Infants and Children (WIC) program, to helping foster care families learn about potential scholarship programs for their youth, resource guides provide a valuable assistance to residents throughout Coconino County and Northern Arizona.
To spread the word about these valuable information options, CCC&Y has compiled a listing and link to a variety of resource guides throughout the region including CCC&Y’s created Page/Fredonia and Tuba City resource guides and the recently updated Williams Area Community Resource Guide.

July 19 — Back to School Health Fair to be held at Tuba City Warrior Pavilion
A Back to School Health Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 19 at the Tuba City Warrior Pavilion, 1 Warrior Drive, Tuba City.

Connections Spotlight — CCC&Y joins other community groups, organizations for return of Tuba City’s Family Fun Day
TUBA CITY — Nearly 200 family members and individuals representing a number of community non-profit organizations took part in the return of the AZ Health Zone’s Family Fun Day held Thursday, June 15 at Louise Yellowman County Park, Tuba City.
The program, which was last held in 2019 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, included food demonstrations, a variety off interactive education booths, games, a bouncy house and free summer lunches for children.

While most students and families are enjoying their summer vacations, school officials are busy planning for a variety of back-to-school fairs in the region including Tuba City, Page and Fredonia.

As one of the most anticipated events in Williams, the annual Fourth of July parade draws crowds from around the state, this year was no exception.
Planning for the parade has been underway for months and turnout for the event was exceptional.
Pop Up Food Distribution to be held in Tuba City on Feb. 20
The Health Choice Arizona Tribal Program will present a food distribution event at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20. We will have a drive thru set up in the back parking lot of the Health Choice Arizona building at 1300 S. Yale St., Tuba City. Pre-packaged food boxes will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Western Navajo Agency Food Distribution to be held April 14 at Western Navajo Fair Grounds, Tuba City
The Western Navajo Agency Food Distribution from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. DST, or until food runs out, Tuesday, April 14 at the Western Navajo Fair Grounds, Tuba City.
*Absolutely no one is to walk up to the site*

‘Family Fun Day’ wellness fair returns to Tuba City
Hoop games and a bounce house for children, health and wellness information for parents — all could be found at the “Family Fun Day” wellness fair held June 19 at the Louise Yelloman Park in Tuba City.
Presented by the Coconino County Public Health Services District and AZ Health Zone, the celebration drew classes of school children, individual families and others to the park where health and community service organizations provided games for children and health information for parents including diabetes awareness, car safety seats and health food alternatives.

Variety of events planned throughout region including walk in Tuba City on April 4, Field of Hope dedication ceremony on April 5 in Flagstaff.
Child Abuse Prevention Month kicked off in April with the reading of the official proclamation by the City of Flagstaff at its regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
The proclamation was presented to CCC&Y Executive Director Virginia Watahomigie by members of the Flagstaff City Council and Mayor Coral Evans.
