School officials to Gov. Ducey: Caution

Rural and northern Arizona education officials told members of Gov. Doug Ducey’s Classrooms First Council this past week to not let education reforms hurt local control of effective school programs.

The Classrooms First Council brought the meeting to Prescott as part of its public engagement plan, and during the group’s Thursday afternoon, Oct. 8, meeting heard from education professionals across the state, including several from northern and rural Arizona.
