Two terrible bills are being heard next week in Third Read, which is the last vote they have in the Senate. One, SB1287, adds unnecessary bureaucratic barriers to bond and override elections. It’s an unfair attack on local control. The other, SB 1237, would give ESA recipients even more unaccountable money by changing from district student weights to charter weights.
