Legislators host teachers for a day at the Capitol

For several years, the Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF) has hosted the “Take Your Legislator to School Day” program where state legislators are teamed up with teachers from around their district who invite them to tour their school and learn more about what it takes to be a teacher in Arizona, the last one taking place in September.

This year, however, the organization had a specific for Arizona District 18, which covers Ahwatukee and small parts of Chandler and Tempe – this year the teachers would be going to where the legislators worked.
