The Arizona Community Foundation’s online scholarship portal is now accepting applications, making scholarship funding opportunities available to students across Arizona for the 2018-19 school year. This year, ACF is proud to announce a number of new scholarships to support Arizona foster children, law enforcement families and community minded students.

Attention high school seniors, the Arizona Community Foundation’s general application for the 2018-19 academic year is now live! With over 100 scholarship awards available (and nearly $1.7 million awarded last year), students can complete just one online application and be automatically matched with any other awards that they may qualify for.
Read On Arizona Literacy Summit 2017

The Read On Arizona Literacy Summit will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at the Phoenix Convention Center, shortly after the conclusion of the First Things First Early Childhood Summit. Presented in partnership with FTF, the Literacy Summit will feature: Opening remarks from Governor Doug Ducey, Needle-Moving Strategies and What it Takes to Get Results, Smart Talk: What Every Parent Can Do to Help Their Child Succeed; Unpacking Policy to Practice: Policy Changes That Impact Literacy; Healthy Vision, Healthy Reader; and Read On Community Spotlights.

The Arizona Community Foundation recently announced that Adam Carl, a student from Coconino High School in Flagstaff; Mason Turney from Saint Johns High School; Kylee Hoffman, a student from Page High School, Rebekah Chattin from Saint Michael Indian School in Saint Michaels; Basilio Roman from Blue Ridge High School in Lakeside; Nadene Hubbard, a student from Ganado High School; and Santana Henry from Flagstaff High School are among the 2017-2018 recipients of the need-based Dorrance Scholarship.
Online scholarship application now open

The Arizona Community Foundation invites high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona to apply for more than 90 scholarship awards. With the completion of just one online application, students are automatically matched with all of the awards for which they qualify.

The Arizona Community Foundation’s affiliate in Flagstaff presented more than $140,000 in grant funds to Flagstaff Unified School District programs during the 18th annual awards program held Monday, Sept. 21 at the High Country Conference Center, the school district reported.
