Superintendent presents plan during ‘We Heard You Tour’ in Flagstaff

Superintendent Diane Douglas’ “We Heard You Tour” arrived in Flagstaff on Oct. 22, where she presented her “AZ Kids Can’t Afford to Wait,” an all-inclusive education plan, in front of a small audience at Coconino High School, the Arizona Daily Sun reported.

After this year’s state-wide “We Are Listening Tour” to hear the concerns and suggestions of educators, parents, and students regarding Arizona’s education system, The Department of Education compiled all of the comments. Using the information heard during 14 meetings throughout the state, in addition to the comments submitted via the Arizona Department of Education’s website and social media sites, and input during her campaign appearances, she has developed this plan as a comprehensive strategy to fix Arizona’s education system.
