STEM workshops  at the 2014 Arizona Out-of-School Time Conference

The School’s Out, Make It Count Engaging Youth in Life & Learning 2014 Arizona Statewide Out-of-School Time Conference & Awards of Excellence Luncheon takes place Saturday, November 15th @ the Phoenix Convention Center

Gain new STEM ideas and activities to implement in your program through attending innovative, exciting, and fun STEM workshops at the 2014 Arizona Out-of-School Time Conference.

This year’s workshops include:

  • The 5 E’s of STEM – presented by the UofA STEM Center Go For Launch
  • Blastoff with Rocketry – presented by Kaci Heins & Jennifer Cheesman
  • STEM on the Cheap – presented by Eric Larsen, Arizona 4-H Hands-On
  • STEM Projects – presented by Harold Gordon, President of Nature-Watch
  • STEM – It’s Your World – presented by Amanda Hughens, Manager of STEM Outreach for Grand Canyon
  • University Rockets to the Rescue,  the award-winning experiment of the 2014 National Youth Science Day – created & presented by Arizona 4-H

Registration is $90, or $85 each for groups of 10 or more. The deadline is October 27th. Register by October 3rd to qualify for preferred seating at the Awards of Excellence Luncheon
