STEM Distance Learning Program available for Classrooms!

| April 28, 2014

APS Foundation has partnered with the Phoenix Zoo to offer STEM distance learning programs to rural communities.

Phoenix Zoo Distance Learning broadcasts into your classroom with live animals, engaging activities, and inquiry-based programs – the same quality programming you expect from the Phoenix Zoo, just virtual. All you need is a computer, a projector, and an internet connection and you’ll have access to dynamic programming from our Outreach team. Our presentations include live discussions and demonstrations, pre-recorded videos, interactive quizzes and questions, and live animal presentations. Students will be able to interact with the Outreach specialists through a chat function creating a two-way dialogue. All programs are designed to meet Arizona state academic standards.
