Congratulations 2020 Graduates

We would like to congratulate all graduating high school seniors and college graduates from CCC and NAU. We wish you success on your future endeavours. 


FUSD High Schools

May 29, 2020 Graduation Procession

Students will participate as passengers in their vehicles and will begin the procession at Mount Elden Middle School at their respective school times. The students will drive south on Fourth Street where they will meet their school administrator who will provide their honors then turn around and return back up Fourth Street to Linda Vista Drive where the procession will disperse.  


Summer 2020 – Updates


The Arboretum at Flagstaff

May 16th – The Arb will partially open to the public. Visitors will be allowed to walk the trails and gardens, but public buildings will remain closed.

Summer Camps for June and July are cancelled. 

Summer Plant Sale – July 18, online sales and scheduled pick up only.


Willow Bend Environmental Education Center

June 22-26 , July 20-24 Summer Bug Camp (Due to the recent recommendations regarding COVID -19 all Center events have been cancelled until further notice.)


Lowell Observatory

Summer Camps: After careful consideration, the Observatory has made the decision to cancel its camps for kids for the summer of 2020. 

Museum of Northern Arizona

Discovery Camps: 

June Summer Camp is delayed. They still hope to hold camps in July and will make a decision on June 15. Stay tuned.


The Force is with Our People: Extended through August 2nd 

Star Wars has had a strong influence on many contemporary Native artists, whose art reflects the images and themes of the popular series. This exhibition features  work by 15-20 different contemporary Native artists whose work is influenced by Star Wars and explores the reasons  Star Wars resonates with them.


Liberating Landscape: through August 9th

Inspired and empowered by the dramatic landscapes of the American Southwest, women took the lead in developing the arts of the region from 1900 to 1940.


Grand Canyon Youth

All Grand Canyon Youth (GCY) expeditions are cancelled for the remainder of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
