After being named one of the top “innovative” schools in the country by the education site Noodle.com, leaders at STAR School hope to keep the school moving forward while staying loyal to traditional roots and approaches.
“Our emphasis is on kids building string relationships,” school director Mark Sorenson said. “Everything we do stems from that. We encourage strong relationships not just with each other, but with all aspects of nature, taking care of the Earth and the animals are all part of our philosophy.”
