Spring Workshops and Events

Please join Association for Supportive Child Care (ASCC) at one or more of the following activities to bring attention to Child Abuse Awareness Month and the Week of the Young Child Activities.

Register TODAY for the Child Abuse Prevention Conference Post Traumatic Growth from Survival to Empowerment.  ASCC have some great sessions lined up for providers, agency staff, community members, parents, foster parents, teachers and others working with children and  families.  Clinical and Non Clinical Sessions are available.  You do not need to attend both days to benefit.  CLICK HERE to register, for the full agenda, and workshop descriptions. Scholarships are available for students, parents, foster parents and those coming from outside of Flagstaff.

  • RSVP is required no later than Monday, April 6th!
  • ONLY $75, $65 for CCC&Y Members.  12.25 CEUs have been approved.  Lunch WILL BE provided for all.

There is still room for youth 10 years and older to attend the Child Care Basics for Youth class this Saturday, 4/11/15 9 am – 3 pm at the Family Resource Center. See flyer HERE and please RSVP.

Are you CURRENTLY certified in American Red Cross CPR/First Aid but due to renew in the next few months? Sign up to take a NO COST CPR/First Aid Renewal Class Thursday4/16/15 6-8 pm at the Family Resource Center.

Don’t miss the 5th Annual Flagstaff Early Childhood Fair at Coconino High School from 10 am – 1 pm.  This is a great opportunity to share information about your program with families and provide valuable information to families who have children birth to eight years.
