Sesame Street – Little Children, Big Challenges: a great new resource for parents and caregivers

| December 20, 2013 | 0 Comments

The incarceration of a loved one can be very overwhelming for both children and caregivers. It can bring about big changes and transitions.  Little Children, Big Challenges, an initiative of Sesame Street, “aims to help children build self-confidence, problem-solving skills, and emotional tools they need to cope with adversity. Resilient children have the ability not only to overcome difficult situations (such as bullying, divorce, sibling rivalry, and relocation) but also to learn from – and be strengthened by – challenges throughout their lives.” On the Little Children, Big Challenges site you will find a toolkit comprised of Tips, Guides, Videos, and more, seeking to accomplish these goals.
