This training is for ANYONE who is interested in contacting the legislature from the convenience of their home, office, or anywhere, no matter the topic or issue. During the next legislative session we want you to be a part of the democratic process.
Coconino Coalition for Children and Youth (CCC&Y) hosts free training: Simplifying Advocacy: Tools for Making a Difference at the Capitol
Presented by Geoffrey Esposito, Governmental Relations Analyst, with the Arizona School Boards Association (ASBA)
Workshop will cover:
- An overview of the legislative process, advocacy examples, and the tools ASBA provides
- Registration and a step by step run through of the “Request to Speak” system on azleg.gov
- Community mapping and Q&A
