Salvation Army Up-Coming Events and Volunteers Needed
The Salvation Army and Wal-Mart have teamed up again to send your child back to school prepared for the year ahead. Each Child will receive a gift car to Wal-Mart to purchase a new outfit. This event is open to children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old who attend a Flagstaff Public School or Tuba City School.
Registration begins July 5, 2017 (or until all spots are filled)
To register your child or children, you must provide:
- 2 forms of ID for parent/legal guardian
- Child’s Social Security care and Birth Certificate (absolutely no copies accepted)
- Proof of Flagstaff/Tuba City Residency
- Proof of INCOME (all in household)
Shopping Day: Saturday, August 5, 2017
Where: Wal-Mart

Volunteers are also needed to make this day a success! There are three ways you can help:
- Volunteer the day of the shopping spree
- Donate a new child’s backpack
- Sponsor a child for a $50 gift card (clothes, shoes, and under garments)
Every gift and act is greatly appreciated!
