Safety & Inclusion for All Youth

On February 4th to February 6th, Join Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence’s training on issues related to gender and gender expression. Gender nonconforming youth may be subjected to harassment, bullying, and even violence, in places where they are supposed to feel safe.  This training is designed for providers, teachers, social workers, and school counselors to gain the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to ensure that their program or classroom is a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all youth.  Some topics in this interactive training include; Difference between sexual orientation and gender identity, addressing bullying, harassment, and discrimination, and many more.
