SafeTALK Training Opportunity Has Been Rescheduled!

SafeTALK Training     

Learn the signs to help identify someone who might be having thoughts of suicide, and feel confident in your ability to help this person considering suicide. Native Americans for Community Action (NACA) invites you to attend SafeTALK, a three (3) hour practical training,
prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Attendance is required for all 3 hours to receive a certificate of completion.
Learn how to:
  • Recognize invitations for help
  • Reach out and offer support
  • Review the risk of suicide
  • Apply a suicide intervention model, and
  • Link people with community resources
When: Thursday, January 21th, 2016
