Read Across America Day

| February 21, 2014

Read Across America Day promotes the importance of literacy, and explores the fun that books can provide for children and families. This years 17th annual Read Across America Day is on March 3rd, which happens to coincide with the birthday of the beloved Dr. Seuss.

In support of Read Across America Day, Read On Arizona is supporting the efforts of this day by providing a communication toolkit that contains ideas, articles, and social media messages that can be used to spread the word about Read Across America Day and Read On Arizona. Read On Arizona is a statewide, public/private partnership of agencies, philanthropic organizations, and community stakeholders committed to creating an effective continuum of services to improve language and literacy outcomes for Arizona’s children from birth through age eight over the next ten years.
