Presentation on Public Education and Neighborhood Schools – October 20th
Join CCC&Y for a presentation from Arizona School Board’s Association to discuss: How this budget and legislative session impacts kids and their neighborhood schools and how YOU can get involved right at home. Geoff Esposito, ASBA Government Relations Analyst, returns to Flagstaff to share insights on the legislature and how their decisions are impacting schools and students.
Participants will:
- Learn about Arizona Public Schools and the current status of funding.
- Learn how to register and use the Request to Speak System, a great way to have your voice heard right from your home computer.
- Leave with a personal elevator pitch on an issue you care about.
Participants are encouraged to bring laptops, tablets, and smart phones as available to access and individually move through the Request to Speak system.
