Pine Forest Charter School officials will soon submit plans to the city to make the school’s new campus project more environmentally friendly.
The new campus, which already houses the school’s preschool and kindergarten classes, will be in the building that used to be the St. Pius X church’s sanctuary.
Instead of the original plan, which would require the school to eventually build another building on the property, school director Michael Heffernan said the school now plans to build a second story of classrooms in the existing building.
