Northland Family Help Center is looking for a full time Trauma Therapist to join their team. Below is a summary of the position and a few of the responsibilities:

Provides psychotherapy, counseling and clinical services to victims of crime; and also responds to crises in person or by telephone to community members and shelter residents. This position will clinically consult with Domestic Violence Shelter and will require hours outside of traditional business hours. This is a Trauma Informed Care agency.

Responsibilities include…

  •  Provide crisis intervention in person or by telephone to community members and shelter residents
  •  Provide information and referral regarding agency services and community resources
  •  Provide assessment for access to agency services and conduct intake interviews
  •  Provide individual, couples, family and group counseling to adult and child survivors of physical, emotional or sexual abuse
  •  Write treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other chart entries as required by agency policies and procedures, licensing agencies, funding sources, and ethical standards
