Northern Arizona College Resource Center – August Workshops

School is back in session and so is the NACRC! We are starting the school year by preparing future college students with the basic needs for college access with the following workshops in August.

Financial Aid Basics
This workshop covers the four different types of financial aid, where it comes from and how to find it. It also goes over the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.
August 13, 6pm-7pm at the NACRC

Best Fit Schools
This workshop covers how to search for schools that offer everything you want including location, climate, clubs, academic programs, etc.

August 18, 6pm-7pm at the NACRC
August 20, 6pm-7pm at the NACRCScholarship Essentials
This workshop covers the different types of scholarships, where to look, how to apply and where to get help.
August 25, 6pm-7pm at the NACRC

Coconino Community College Resource Fair
Learn about the different resources available to you in Flagstaff.
August 27, 11am-2pm at CCC Lone Tree

ACT Test Prep
This workshop covers the ACT, test taking strategies and tips for reducing test anxiety. Students take a partial practice test and go over their answers with the test prep instructor.
August 27, 4pm-7pm at the NACRC
