Landon Lucart likes reading, comic books, anime and video games — an appropriate list of hobbies for a naturally talented speller.
So it comes as no surprise that the 12-year-old won the Page Middle School Spelling Bee earlier this month, securing victory by correctly spelling the word “algae.”
