Mindfullness Spotlight: This Too shall Pass

| May 19, 2020

We invite you to take 3 belly breaths. Ah, how did that feel for just 3 seconds to only focus on one thing, your breath? Our breath centers us and provides focus. Through this calming, we can remind ourselves “this too shall pass.” Honestly, both the highs and lows will pass. So, enjoy the good while you are in it! And know the not-so-good or even downright overwhelming will pass, eventually.

Many of us may be in transition with the stay at home mandate relaxing. This may be a welcome shift or bring up conflicting emotions. Whatever your feeling, it is ok. Simply, acknowledge your thoughts and emotions, honor them, and be responsive to your needs.

Please know our wider community is rooting for you and hoping you have the strength to ask for support when you need it. And, right now, we all need it! Reaching out expands our collective support circle. We are resilient and can get through anything with support!

The Coalition provides a weekly opportunity to “meet” with others either virtually or on the phone. We share the gifts and challenges of the week. We listen, connect, and inform each other of available community resources. It’s an opportunity to build our social-emotional skills while connecting to others throughout Coconino county.

Click here to register and receive attendance link. We look forward to meeting and connecting you!
