The First Things First Navajo Nation Regional Partnership Council will host a virtual forum “Diné Nutrition for Young Children,” from noon to 2 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Time / Navajo Nation) Wednesday, May 18 at:

Denee Bex is a Registered Dietitian and an advocate for healthy traditional Navajo diets and home-grown foods in Native communities. Denee is the owner and founder of Tumbleweed Nutrition LLC, a nutrition education consultant company that aims to provide evidence-based nutrition consultations for organizations serving the American Indian community. She was born and raised on the Navajo Nation and she is the Charcoal Streaked Division of the Red Running into the Water Clan. She enjoys showing her community realistic ways to live and eat healthier while honoring our traditional and cultural Indigenous foods.
