Grand Canyon Youth’s 15th Annual River Runner Film Festival & Auction

Saturday, November 1st, 5:00-10:00 pm at the Coconino Center for the Arts, 2300 North Fort Valley Road.

Some of the highlights:

  • A silent auction and raffle featuring over 100 items including:
  • A variety of exciting river gear
  • Fantastic gift certificates for food, massages and more
  • Beautiful hand-crafted artwork, jewelry and photographs by local and regional artists
  • A variety of inspiring river themed films including:
  • “Nobody’s River”: Flagstaff Premiere: Produced by Skip Armstrong.  This film tells the story of 4 women who explore the Amur River, beginning in Mongolia and ending in Russia.
  •  “Warm Springs”: World Premiere: Produced by Benjamin Saheb & Cody Perry. A story about a rapid that has run through the lives of those who love and fear it.
  • “Year of the River”: Produced by Andy Maser. This film highlights several of the recent dam removal projects across the country.
  • Great food!  Delicious pizza from Fratelli’s Pizza and yummy salad from the Mix.
  • Youth speakers: Hear first-hand the value of a GCY program from some of our participants.
  • The 5th Annual Confluence Award: congratulations to Sarah Baden, guide extraordinaire! She’s been sharing science & adventure with youth for 10 years.

Admission is $15/person or $40 for a family.
