Girl Scouts in Flagstaff First Saturday Program

Last school year, girls joined us for our first monthly Girl Scouts in Flagstaff Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) program.  With the help of community members, girls performed amazing experiments such as extracting DNA from strawberries and changing the states of water! Girls also gained financial literacy skills through participation in the legendary Girl Scout Cookie Sale.

In case you missed it, we’re back again! On the first Saturday of every month, girls will participate in values building games as they learn the Promise and Law and gain science, technology, engineering, and math experience through fun activities. Additional favorites include songs and seasonal crafts. With the help of volunteers, girls also can participate in the famous Girl Scout Cookie Sale. This program aims to reach girls grades K-5 who are not yet in Girl Scout troops.

They will be meeting at the Flagstaff Recreation Center on 2403 N. Izabel Street on November 1 and December 6 from 10am-12:30pm.
