FUSD programs, community partners receive grants from the Arizona Community Foundation of Flagstaff

The Arizona Community Foundation’s affiliate in Flagstaff presented more than $140,000 in grant funds to Flagstaff Unified School District programs during the 18th annual awards program held Monday, Sept. 21 at the High Country Conference Center, the school district reported.

Many partner organizations also received funds at the event that will directly support the well-rounded education that FUSD provides, the district reported.

FUSD organizations that received grants were:

  • Killip Elementary School
  • Kinsey Elementary K.I.D.S. Magnet Program
  • Marshall Elementary Music Program
  • Mount Elden Middle School, Alpine Academy/Grand Canyon Youth
  • Flagstaff Unified School District Foundation

“FUSD was mentioned in many other organizations statements and we are grateful as always for the support of the Flagstaff community for our students and staff,” FUSD officials reported.

A total of $1.35 million was awarded to more than 100 organizations, the Arizona Community Foundation reported.
