FUSD – Indian Education Support Program Application

Attention Freshman Students & Parents:

CHS and FHS counselors are seeking qualified applicants for the (MS)2 program at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. Deadline is December 15, 2015. Please note, this is a highly competitive program and students are encouraged to begin preparing their applications now. Recommendations from teachers and counselors should also be requested as soon as possible.

Candidates currently must be in the 9th grade in a U.S. public school and must complete one full year of algebra by June 2016. Please see the attached brochure for more information or request a meeting with your Native American Academic Advisor.

Application Process and Deadline:

  1. Complete the full application (available here.), which includes the following forms: Biographical Information, Student Profile, Student Personal Statement, Guidance Counselor Recommendation (including school transcript and grades), Math Teacher Recommendation (including an online math assessment), Science Teacher Recommendation, English Teacher Recommendation (including a graded English assignment), and Financial Statement (including income verification).
  2. Mail the full application with supporting documentation on or before December 15, 2015. Finalists will be notified by e-mail in mid-February.

Finalists are invited for personal interviews in their local cities; parents and guardians are urged to attend. Accepted students will be notified by e-mail the first week of April.

This program is an exciting opportunity for young scholars and we look forward to working with students to prepare their applications.
