FTF Capacity Building for System Success

You’ve talked – We’ve listened – Now it’s time to implement and build capacity

In 2013, the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, in partnership with First Things First, conducted an extensive research project to discover the strengths, challenges and opportunities for organizations statewide to successfully partner with First Things First. We analyzed the data and in April 2013 presented the research findings and announced the capacity building strategy. A year later, the strategy has launched and 30 early childhood organizations statewide are participating. Now, we would like to share how your organization can participate in this innovative capacity building initiative.

We would like to invite you to visit the initiative’s webpagewww.arizonanonprofits.org/ftf where you will find a program summary, webinar recording detailing the initiative, and application for participation. This is your opportunity to bolster the capacity of your organization to serve young children and their families.

We would like to thank the over 400 organizations that have provided input through surveys and community presentations, participated in one-on-one interviews, or have expressed a desire to be a part of this important capacity building initiative. Please feel free to forward this information to anyone who has an interest in early childhood systems, capacity building, or currently serves the birth to 5 population. Again, for more information about our partnership with First Things First, visit the Alliance website and read this description of the Statewide Capacity Building Initiative.

Please contact the Program Coordinator with any questions,
