Fourth of July Parade – Join CCC&Y with Pinwheels for Prevention!
CCC&Y will be walking in the Flagstaff Fourth of July Parade, this Friday morning, July 4th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. We will be LUCKY entry #13 walking just behind Flagstaff Unified School District. Please join us in spreading awareness about Child Abuse Prevention by passing out 5,000 pinwheels to spectators at this fabulous community event.
CCC&Y’s float will include Pinwheels for Prevention and one of our most recent Promoting Assets With Sculpture (PAWS) Mountain Lions representing Asset #27 Equality and Social Justice. We are excited to showcase this positive community arts and education prevention project.
The CCC&Y float will be staged on Elm Street, between Beaver Street and Leroux Street around 7:30 a.m. Feel free to come early, or just in time for the prompt 9 a.m. parade start.
Don’t forget to wear sunscreen, a hat, and bring water. It will be a warm event, on dark pavement.
