Featured speakers announced for virtual First Things First Summit

First Things First is offering a free, virtual Early Childhood Summit on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 as an alternative to our traditional in-person conference due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

The day-long virtual conference will offer six breakout sessions and the following featured speakers:

Morning Session
Rachel Wagner is a national speaker and author of FLIP IT! Transforming Challenging Behavior. She will share her expertise on how early educators can navigate our current challenging, stressful and even traumatic times.

Afternoon Session
David Dickinson is the Margaret Cowan Chair of Education at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, where he studies young children’s language and early literacy development. He’ll share his latest research on building vocabulary among young children.
