Families Are Talking! Workshop – Talking with young kids about birth, bodies, and sexuality
The “Families Are Talking!” Workshop is a wonderful opportunity for parents! Don’t miss out on this FREE workshop, open to the public.
When: Tuesday, June 17th from 5:30-7:00 pm
Where: The Family Resource Center, 4000 N. Cummings St.
What: This interactive workshop will empower parents
to have age-appropriate conversations with their kids.
Why: Sending healthy and positive messages helps kids feel
good about their bodies and protects their health.
Can I bring my kid? Babies in arms are welcome! Sorry,
child care will not be provided.
Participants will learn:
What kids (ages 0-8) need to know about these topics and when they need to know it
How parents can identify their attitudes and values about sexuality
Tips for talking with kids and specific steps for answering questions
