We Are Listening Tour 2016

State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Diane Douglas, is holding community meetings about K-12 education through the end of the year. Meetings are open to the public and are an opportunity to make suggestions about Arizona’s education policies. Meetings will be interactive Q&A sessions between Superintendent Douglas, Arizona Department of Education staff, and community members. Every topic of K-12 is open for discussion. ADE is also seeking input for the development of our Arizona state plan for Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the federal legislation addressing America’s public education system.

These events are a valuable opportunity for you to share your comments, suggestions and concerns regarding education in Arizona. Please invite other parents, educators and local residents to participate to ensure your community is well represented. It is free to attend the event and registration is not required.
