Excellence Tour

Spotlights what schools and communities in Arizona are doing today to make progress toward an excellent education for every student, and celebrates the kind of excellence we expect and believe must be available to all students. It is important to identify the programs and initiatives we know are working so they can be celebrated and potentially replicated. Check out these Excellence Tour stories from November.

High school seniors earning college credits through Vail Early College program

Through a partnership between Vail School District and Pima Community College, high school seniors are earning dozens of college credits before they graduate from high school.

Teens gain valuable work experience through AZYouthforce Academy

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix runs the AZYouthforce Academy, a workforce development program aimed at helping teens identify interests and learn how they can create skills for their future.
