Easter eggs and educational services highlight 2017 Page Early Childhood Fair

On yet another windy day in Page, the children were lined up at the edge of the infields of the four baseball diamonds anxiously awaiting the horn to sound.

When it did, hundreds of children of all ages rushed to the outfields of the Page Sports Complex to snatch their Easter Eggs at the 2017 “Early Learning Everyday Early Childhood Fair” held April 8.

The event was held in conjunction with the annual “Community Easter Egg Hunt,” allowing  parents to also received information on child care, family resources and training opportunities from organizations that set up information tables at the sports facility.

Books were also available for young children, along children’s activities and a chance to have their photo taken with the oversized Easter Bunny.

The event was presented by the Page Public Library,the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth, First Things First and Page Recreation.
