Early Education Scholarship Opportunity

| August 8, 2014

AzAEYC advocates for and promotes the well-being of all Arizona’s young children and their families by improving the quality of early care and education for every child and providing and supporting high quality professional development opportunities and resources for early childhood professionals.

The AzAEYC board would like to recognize and support individuals choosing to enter the early childhood field by awarding the Rhian Evans Allvin and Joshua J. Allen Scholarships.  This $500 scholarship, created to honor these two individuals and their outstanding service to Arizona’s young children, will be awarded to one female and one male who have demonstrated leadership qualities, a dedication to early childhood, and a commitment to public policies that support the well-being of young children.  It may be used to support tuition expenses, conduct a policy study/project, or participate in a policy event such as the NAEYC Public Policy Forum.

The scholarships will be presented at the 2014 AzAEYC Annual Membership Meeting on October 17th, 2014.
