Department of Child Safety Office of Prevention Conducting Needs Assessment 2019 – Stakeholder On-line Survey

| April 22, 2019

By the Arizona Department of Child Safety

The Department of Child Safety’s Office of Prevention is conducting a statewide needs assessment focused on the prevention of child maltreatment. The purposes of the needs assessment are to:

  1. determine the current risk and protective factors for Arizona’s children and families.
  2. identify the most effective methods to prevent or mediate risks and/or to enhance protective factors identified in the need’s assessment.

An important component of the needs assessment is an on-line survey for individuals from the public and community non-profit sectors who work with parents and families to prevent child maltreatment.  Many of you are associated with a Regional Child Abuse Prevention Council. We are reaching out to you to ask you to complete this on-line survey that will provide important information for the needs assessment.  The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
