CCC&Y’s Street Care Package Drive – Reminder!

| December 15, 2015

Help gear up our kids for winter by supporting our Street Care Package Drive for Northland Family Help Center’s Outreach Program and FUSD’s McKinney Vento Program.

For the entire month of December, CCC&Y will be collecting survival care packages and supplies to support local homeless children and youth! ALL donations will go to Northland Family Help Center’s Outreach Project and the McKinney Vento Program. Both are local programs which provide critical care, counseling, resources, and supplies to our homeless children.

Items that are needed for donation include:

  • Clothing Items (All sizes!): Socks, women’s underwear, hats, scarves, gloves, rain ponchos, hangers, etc.
  • Toiletries: Tampons, deodorant, chapstick, hair brushes, hair ties, full size lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.
  • Gift Cards: Grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, gas/fuel, bus passes.
  • Pre-Wrapped Snacks: Granola bars, juice boxes, trail mix, etc.

ALL DONATIONS can be dropped off directly to Northland Family Help Center: 2100 North Walgreens Street.

CLICK HERE for the map.  On the right hand side of the parking lot (when facing the building) there is a Donation Center Shed, open during regular business hours for used goods items, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PLEASE mark your donations with “RHY Program” in some way.  Brandon Rawls will be checking the shed daily. If any of your donations for the Street Care Package Drive are toiletry/food or new donations, they should be brought to the front door of Northland.  Ring the buzzer to connect with someone inside.
