CCC&Y Launches Weekly Education e-Newsletter

| April 27, 2015

School funding, new standards, teacher accountability and much more ~ Education issues have become even more pressing recently in Coconino County, in Arizona, and throughout the nation. Responding to the critical nature of these issues, the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth (CCC&Y) is taking steps to provide breaking education news to the community.

Subscribers seeking the latest information on issues, trends and events in education now have a new resource with the Coconino Coalition for Children & Youth’s new weekly Education e-Newsletter.

The update contains links to upcoming educational events and an Education Spotlight highlighting a successful individual or program, breaking news or key upcoming events.

It will also provide links to the 10 Most Recent Education Articles on our website at https://news.coconinokids.org, along with a Your Voice section with email links and other information to help you reach elected officials or submit letters to the editor to local media.

The Education Update will take the place of the regular Thursday CCC&Y Connections email, which will continue to hit your e-mail boxes on Tuesdays.

Subscribers to our Connections email will need to opt in to the weekly Education Spotlight by updating your personal preferences, an option at the bottom of the Connections email. You will want this handy resource as you support our mission, ensuring that all children and youth in Coconino County have the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.

If you have any questions regarding the new Education Update, or wish to submit suggestions or photos for consideration for an upcoming Education Spotlight, contact Frank X. Moraga, CCC&Y’s Parent & Community Outreach Coordinator, at frank@coconinokids.org
