MARK YOUR CALENDARS! April 2nd from 5:30-7:30 p.m.!! Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) invites you to the first Flagstaff Community STEM Celebration at NAU’s J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome. The purpose of this event is to showcase STEM education and business in Flagstaff. Through this event FUSD hopes to educate the community on the STEM emphasis not only in our schools at every level but the opportunities for students once they have graduated high school or college and are entering the workforce.

National Foundation Offers Multi-Year Scholarship to Qualifying Seventh Grade Students

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program will award seventh-graders in the country financial support for educational and extracurricular activities throughout high school. The Young Scholars Program is open to students with outstanding academic records, accomplishments outside of the classroom, and substantial financial need. Application are due by March 20th, 2014.
