Call for Presentations – 3rd Annual Disability Awareness Conference – March 11 and 12, 2014

The Hopi Office of Special Needs, Early Intervention & Vocational Rehabilitation Programs is soliciting proposals for its 3rd Annual Hopi Disability Conference. Presentation topics must relate to disability issues including but not limited to; best practices, education, etc. for these individuals and families.

Deadline:  Abstracts must be sent to the Hopi Office of Special Needs through the email submission process no later than Friday, January 17, 2014 to

Submission Requirements:  Abstracts must reflect topics relevant to the field of disabilities in the following categories: Early Intervention, Vocational Rehabilitation, Mental Health, and/or Prevention.

Other topic suggestions: Employment of persons with disabilities, veterans issues, PTSD, etc. Information presented should be relevant to attendees who are parents, teachers, professionals, and the general public.

One presenter must be designated primary contact. All correspondence pertaining to abstract submission will be sent to the primary contact. Presenter information will be listed in the conference program as submitted.
