Building Momentum for STEAM Education

| October 8, 2014

Valley of the Sun Association for the Education of Young Children (VSAEYC) presents “Building Momentum with STEAM Education”

This training is designed to enhance intentional facilitation skills of early childhood practitioners to promote investigation and critical thinking in young children while using open-ended materials, which enhance STEAM experiences for children. Participants will have the opportunity to “get down” and play and get “hands-on” familiar with unique, thoughtfully designed materials that foster problem solving, design thinking and STEAM explorations.

Explore ways to support inquiry and investigation through STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) in the early childhood classroom.

  • Saturday October 25, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST
  • Summit School of Ahwatukee – 4515 E Muirwood Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85048
